Caring for your jewellery

Picco Para jewellery is made to order in East London, which means each piece is totally unique. Any irregularities in shape and texture are a natural part of the process, designed to be treasured for years and years. Caring for each piece is a unique process too.

Read on to discover how to keep your jewellery looking as good as new forever.

Bronze

Bronze will naturally oxidise over time, it’s part of the charm. To keep it in its best condition, keep dry as much as possible. You should also avoid contact with perfumes, moisturisers, and household cleaning products. Store it in a cool dry space when not in use. Bronze can be easily cleaned with polishing cloth or with warm, soapy water.

Silver

To best care for your sterling silver pieces, remove them before contact with salty or chlorinated water. Where possible you should also avoid contact with perfumes, moisturisers, and household cleaning products. Store your silver jewellery in a cool dry space when not in use. Silver can be easily cleaned with a soft silver polishing cloth or with warm, soapy water.

Gold

With the proper care, each of our 9ct gold pieces are capable of lasting a lifetime and beyond. Picco Para pieces are made from solid gold, which means they can withstand contact with most substances your skin will touch each day. They can be easily cleaned with warm, soapy water and any soft cloth. When not in use, store your gold jewellery in a cool dry place.
